Today Apple has announced the highly anticipated Apple iOS 5 for Apple’s iPod touch, iPhone and iPad. Previously it was announced 128 days ago at WWDC 2011, where Apple officially stated that it will make iOS 5 available for its iUsers on October 12th. Anyhow it is said that the new Apple iOS 5 is brings over 200 new features and enhancements to the Apple’s iOS devices.

Its key features include the iCloud, which is company’s own data syncing service that allows iUsers to make backs up of their data and provides single click access to redownload all the apps they’ve purchased. New Notification Center, which will allow iUser to drag down from the top of the screen to see a drawer with all notifications, just like the Android. Moreover there is now Over-the-air update, which means PC-less Smartphone activation, Twitter integration, Newsstand for purchasing and organizing one’s newspaper and magazine subscriptions. In addition Apple has also included BBM-style iMessage, Reminders and Wi-Fi Sync.
Furthermore Apple also made available the OS X 10.7.2 with iCloud support and two new iOS apps known as the Find My Friends and AirPort Utility, which one can download by visiting iCloud.com on their iOS device.
The iOS 5 is currently available for iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S as well as for the iPad and iPad 2, and the third- and fourth-generation iPod touch. To update your iDevice to iOS 5 all one has to do is simply attach their iPhone, iPad or iPod to their computers and follow the instructions in iTunes.
