This iPhone 4 is believed to be of the same generation that was famously outed last year before its official launch date. There was quite racket about the device, where some claimed that an Apple employee dropped it while on a night out. According to the seller, who says that he is a cell phone repair engineer, this iPhone 4 was bought from a disappointed owner who was frustrated because there was no way to activate it via iTunes. This iPhone 4 also has different internal components and also features a tester code DF1692 on the front, which This is My Next believes that it is an Apple ID code, which allows Apple to see which prototype belongs to whom.
Furthermore the other differences that you can find between this prototype and shipping iPhone 4 unit is that it is without + or – symbols on the volume buttons. It cannot be activated on the AT&T network or synced through iTunes but the good thing is that its screen works, along with the home, lock and volume buttons and it vibrates. So what do you say folks? How much will you pay for this piece of Apple history?
