BT has announced a mobile application, BT Fon, for their Android and iPhone users, which will allow them to access Wi-Fi on their devices all around UK. BT has around 1.6 million Wi-Fi hotspots all over UK and just by installing the free BT app; Android and iPhone users can get access to the internet. According to the firm this application also has mapping service that will provide guidance for the nearest Wi-Fi hotspot. There are two applications available named as BT Fon iPhone App and BT Fon Android App but keep in mind that you will need your BT Total Broadband user name and password.

According to BT they will donate 50p to the BBC’s Children in Need appeal every time the BT FON application is downloaded, up to a maximum of £10,000. This is really cool from BT !
