Cobra a company renowned for its radar detector will be putting their Android and iOS devices enabled radar detector in the upcoming CES 2011 in Las Vegas. For those not familiar with the radar detector technology, it’s a method used to transform your gadget into radar. This radar can monitor different things like; it can check your speed while you are driving to avoid over speeding tickets. Cobras iRadar can be paired with a Smartphone via Bluetooth, after pairing the touch screen interface of the device becomes your control panel, which indicates different alerts.

Cobra’s iRadar is a bundled package it comes up with a hardware that can be connected to your iOS or Android powered devices and the software. The software that runs the gadget can be downloaded for free.  Hardware can be bought from Cobra’s website for as low as $169. For those who are considering to lay off their old school radar system, then for them iRadar is a quite good next generation replacement.
