Scial networking giant Facebook has started rolling out new version of its mobile site m.facebook.com that will allow any mobile device to adapt the Facebook page accordingly. This will help Facebook to add new features and updates easily without having to write for each and every mobile that visit the Facebook page.

Facebook says the reason behind this change is innovation, handling and maintaining two different sites that are same at the backend. Yes it means that the new Facebook site will replace the older one as well as the touch.facebook.com site, which was designed for the highly capable smartphones. Anyhow, another reason for a new site come from Erick Tseng, Facebook’s head of mobile, who told AllThingsD that there are about 250 million mobile users per month, and most of these users visits through Facebook’s mobile website. The changes are being rolled out now and it might take next few weeks for all the users to get it.

So what you say about it folks? Are going to ditch the Android and iOS Facebook apps now? Whatever you have in mind share with us in the comment box below.

I don’t mind too much how they replaced touch.facebook, but one thing I find incredibly frustrating is that they’ve removed the ability to save photos from facebook to my iPhone. This may seem like a small issue, but that was one of the biggest reasons I preferred to use facebook on safari rather than through the application. Not happy facebook.

Now wht i dont like is that you cant delete post you put up. You have to go and open full site to delete a comment or post. Thats a waste of time. And also a min ago i was on regular mobile site not touch you can do it on there. But by accident at bottom by settings n full site i hit touch site. Now it used to give option to go back now it dont. Please fix that.
