Gone are the days when we had to experience delays while talking on VOIP calling. But when it comes to HD video calls, we still have the problem of lagging. Fraunhofer, the researcher, had been working to sort it out and finally presented a new device that speeds up your two-way conversation.

Unlike the tech Skype that requires video cameras for its SkypeHD, the device is an encoder card that does hardware squashing of HD video via H.264 and audio via AAC. This device not only removes the echoes but also handles network hiccups that results in a smooth chat with less than 100ms tolerable delay.
