Microsoft has decided to give a free Window Phone 7 handset to each of its employee. Last month, Microsoft gave out hundreds of Xbox 36os to E3 attendees. There are around 90,000 Microsoft employees worldwide, expected price of each unit is to be $300 and the total bill could reach to $27 million.

Previously in March, Wall Street Journal report claimed that 10,000 of Microsoft employees own an iPhone plus the report also said Microsoft had changed its reimbursement policy to ban handsets not running its own software.
