Chronic Dev Team has confirmed that their upcoming GreenPois0n version will Jailbreak iOS 4.3 / 4.3.1 on Apple iPad 2. Since Jailbreak 4.3.1 Untethered has been released but it does not support iPad 2. GreenPois0n will be launched with iPad 2 Jailbreak support.
Rumors suggest that Comex’s iPad 2 Jailbreak exploit has been patched by Apple thats why redsn0w was not able to jailbreak the iPad 2. Now Chronic Dev Team has been working on a new exploit to use in GreenPois0n for iPad 2 Jailbreak. Also GreenPois0n will Jailbreak upcoming Apple iOS 4.3.2 which is meant to be released in the next two weeks.

First! Wow this is great news, finally! After noticing all the tiny bugs with the iPad 2 I really do feel Apple rushed the release of this device just a bit. Camera/FaceTime glitches, random rebooting, shortened battery life, the list goes on. At least we finally get to enjoy and unlock the full potential of this somewhat “rushed” idevice. Thanks to all the hard working legends in the hacker community. Always donate if it’s offered to keep this kind of operation going.

I 2nd this, I’m dying without a iPad2 jailbreak. I find myself using my iPhone 4 more and more and having my iPad 2 sit there as one big paperweight as I check multiple times daily for iPad 2 jailbreak updates threw google news search. At this point I’d pay a couple hundred bucks if it meant the difference between getting a iPad 2 jailbreak and not. I haven’t been without a jailbroken idevice in years, I can’t believe how many of the features I came to take for granted require a jailbreak lol. I have all the respect in the world for comex and I know he’s doing it for free on his time but he is just so slow. It almost seems like he enjoys it more to just announce he has a jailbreak and a jailbroken device when no one else does then actually releasing it. I mean if he doesn’t have the time todo it himself there’s no reason not to just share his exploit with either the iPhone dev team or chronic dev team and have them work on the tool, considering apple has already patched his exploit in the latest firmware he has nothing to loose.
Anyway enough rambling from me. Thank you chronic dev team I can’t wait, I’ll definitely be donating a nice chunk of change to motivate future development after they release it.

I dont understand why we are so crazy about this. ??? I check the news every 20 minutes for jailbreak for ipad 2! This thing drive crazy millions of people. Wow! By the way i agree ipad just a paperweight without jailbreak! If once apple block all the jailbreaks they will loose a lot of customers!
Yal are idiots the iPad 2 is great with out a jailbreak but it would be better with a jailbreak!! It’s definitely not a paper weight!
I tend to agree with Mr. Cameraman2. The iPad2 is a great device as is. Obviously jailbreaking it brings it to a full new potential -plus all the free apps we can load, ha!
