Microsoft have finally launched its first batch of Window Phone 7 devices in US and Samsung Omnia 7 is one of them. From design it looks quite solid and comes in a candy bar form factor featuring a 4-inch SUPER AMOLED display with 800 x 480 pixels resolution screen and Microsoft’s new panel UI. Also, it comes loaded with 1GHz Qualcomm WSD8250 processor, capable of recording 720p HD video at 25 frames per second with the built-in 5 megapixel camera.

That’s not just all! It also allows playback of Xbox LIVE games directly on the handset including full access to Zune entertainment. Omnia 7 have a built-in memory of 8GB and ofcourse Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for connectivity.

Availability in US is expected by November from AT&T and for Europe, 3 UK has announced that it will be available from October 21st with the following plans; The One Plan for £40.00, Internet Texter 900 for £38.00 and Internet Texter 500 for £35.00 per month. However Orange is yet to announce their plan, so stay tuned and we’ll get back to you with more information.
