Orange data customers who tried logging on to Facebook this morning, they received a notification “Access restricted: bad IP” and the message “You are trying to access facebook from an IP (internet protocol) address that has been associated with abusive behavior”. This raged anger among Orange’s customers and they started posting their dissatisfaction on Twitter. Currently there isn’t any actual figure that how many users were blocked from signing in.

According to Orange spokeswoman “We are aware that our mobile customers are currently having issues accessing facebook via their handsets,” she also added “We are working with facebook to fix this as a matter of priority and would like to apologize to our customers for the inconvenience this may cause them.”

Facebook has launched Facebook Places by which users are now able to post information on ‘where’ as well as ‘who’, ‘what’ and ‘when’ they are and today’s facebook rejection, all seems to be connected. Well nothing is for sure right now but Orange is deeply looking into the matter to solve it as soon as possible.
