Specs, photos and release date of rumored Sony Ericsson’s Playstation phone have come across the internet today. Tech blog Engadget has posted these details along with a rumor that it be based on Google’s upcoming Android 3.0 Gingerbread (or Android 2.3 Gingerbread) operating system. PlayStation phone looks identical to Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 and is in a slider form factor to give a full slide out gaming panel with PlayStation-esque controls. There are some other cool features too, you can check them below. The only thing it lacks is the Sony Ericsson Timescape UI and the Memory Stick slot. If these rumors are true then it will be the gaming-centric Android phone.

And as for its release, Engadget says that it will be available by first quarter of 2010 or may be due in 2010, by the time of holidays. Below are its specifications and photos. Check them out after the break.

Android 3.0 Gingerbread OS, 1GHz Qualcomm chipset, 512MB of RAM and 1GB of ROM, a microSD card slot and support to Sony Marketplace to buy games.
