Vodafone kick starts pre-orders for the BlackBerry Bold 9900 through their website. The handset was officially unveiled last week, with a few more exciting phones to arrive next week.

Previously Vodafone had announced that the phone will be delivered by the 16th August. They have now made the BlackBerry 9900 available for pre-order on contracts starting from £41 per month on a two-year term.

They are offering 1200 voice minutes, unlimited texts and 500MBs of data allowance per month with the £41 per month contract.

Amongst the various multimedia features, the one that caught our attention is the Near Field Communication (NFC) technology for mobile payments. Vodafone has not yet revealed any further information as to whether they will be enabling or disabling this feature on the handsets.

Vodafone has also announced the arrival of the Torch 9810 which will feature a 1.2GHz processor and RIMs new operating system OS 7 and a 5MP HD video camera.
