If you don’t know about Straight Talk then it is one of the four brands owned by TracFone, which is a prepaid mobile phone provider also owns the NET10 and Safelink Wireless brands of service. The Samsung Galaxy Precedent is said to be an entry-level Android Smartphone and is expected to hit shelves in September.

The Galaxy Precedent appears to be same as Samsung Galaxy Prevail hardware-wise, which features an Android 2.2 FroYo operating system, a 3.2-inch capacitive touch screen display with 262k colors support and 320 x 480 pixels resolution, a 2 megapixel mediocre camera with QVGA video recording capabilities, and a 1500 mAh Li-Ion battery, which will last up to 216 hours on standby or will give up to 6 hours talk time.
